Recovering from homelessness is not easy. You can help provide relief along the way.

It takes a community to empower an individual to exit homelessness and move into a home of their own.

Our Bridge Staff are experts in helping our Guests with the support and tools they need to recover from homelessness. But your generosity provides the essentials that lay the foundation for the transformative work done by our incredible Bridge staff.

Give relief by providing essentials at every stage of the homeless recovery journey.

The Impact

Help provide essentials at every stage of homeless recovery

The Bridge is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As the weather turns changes, our campus becomes a refuge from the elements for nearly 500 individuals every day. When you donate to The Essentials Campaign, you give relief to your neighbors who need it the most by providing essentials at every stage of their homeless recovery.

Entry Essentials

Entry Essentials

The first step our Guests take on their journey to homeless recovery is to enter The Bridge. This step takes courage. Many of our Guests have spent weeks, months, or even years on the streets. When they enter through our doors, we want to honor their courage and treat them with the dignity they deserve. This includes providing each Guest with entry essentials: a blanket, shower shoes, hygiene kit, and a clean set of clothes and underwear.

Recovery Essentials

The next and most important step our Guests take is to connect with a Bridge Care Manager and craft their pathway out of homelessness. We want our Guests to put all of their focus toward their recovery, not where their next meal will come from. So, we provide recovery essentials including water, three nutritious meals a day, a barbershop, and a kennel at no cost to our Guests.

Exit Essentials

The final step our Guests take is exiting homelessness—and The Bridge—and moving into a home of their own. When a Guest moves out, we celebrate. We ring a bell and gift our Guest with a Welcome Basket and Food Package to help in their transition. Our COC-funded Guests are even eligible to receive furniture for their new home!

Give the gift of comfort.

Hot weather is just around the corner. Whether an individual is a Guest at The Bridge or someone that our Outreach Team meets on the street, we want to make sure they are cool and safe.

You can deliver seasonal essentials, including clothing, hats, and shoes, right to our door by purchasing much-needed items off of our Amazon Wishlist.
