Prevention and Diversion Programs

Prevention and Diversion Programs at The Bridge are meant to provide individuals at risk of homelessness resources and tools to prevent becoming homeless.

There currently is limited funding for these programs and funding will only be available to individuals who meet eligibility requirements. If eligible, individuals will go through a screening process with staff at The Bridge and will be awarded if all requirements are met.

The first requirement for eligibility is your Area Median Income level. You must fall under “extremely low” or “very low” categories. You can find your status here.

For more information regarding eligibility and for screening, please call our Prevention and Diversion team at 214-670-1101.

If you do NOT qualify for Bridge programs but are still in need of help, please call the United Way 211 hotline.
